Water Research Australia is delighted to announce Mount Barker District Council (MBDC) has joined the BIG Team.
MBDC, which serves one of Australia’s fastest growing regions, has joined as an Industry Member. It owns and operates the largest council-run wastewater and recycled water scheme in South Australia comprising wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, bore water supply, and recycled water treatment and distribution. With a focus on sustainability and operational efficiency the Wastewater Service is committed to maximising productive reuse of quality recycled water for the benefit of the economy, community and the environment. MBDC’s careful planning and use of leading-edge technology and equipment ensures its wastewater and recycled water operations are being expanded and upgraded in a sustainable and efficient manner.
