Water Research Australia invites you to play a pivotal role in shaping the 2025 Next Water conference, Australia’s leading scientific and technical conference on research and innovation showcasing scientific evidence-based research to inform policy, provide best practice applications and ensuring public and environmental health.
We’re excited to announce the formation of the Next Water 2025 Program Committee, and we’re seeking passionate individuals like you to join us in shaping this flagship event.
Next Water: Where science meets solutions | February 2025, Melbourne Victoria.
This two-day powerhouse event brings together industry professionals and academics from across the nation to share vital research, best practices, and innovative ideas. Through keynote presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and case studies, Next Water fosters the crucial collaborations and knowledge exchange that drives progress in public health, environmental protection, and sustainable water resource management.
Become a member of the Program Committee: Make a difference, build your network.
We are seeking dedicated individuals with a passion for water and a desire to shape the conference agenda. As a Program Committee member, you will be an instrumental force in curating a program that:
- Ignites minds: Select the most impactful research and presentations, ensuring the conference content is diverse, insightful, and at the cutting edge of the water industry
- Connects the dots: Help define the key themes and topics, fostering dialogue and collaboration across disciplines and sectors
- Empowers action: Source insightful speakers who will inspire, educate, and provide practical solutions for today’s water challenges.
- Elevates the conversation: Contribute to developing engaging and interactive sessions that drive meaningful discussion and knowledge exchange.
Your commitment includes:
- Attending monthly virtual committee meetings (commencing in February) and contribute actively to discussions;
- Reviewing and evaluating submitted abstracts;
- Shaping the conference agenda by suggesting relevant topics, themes, and speakers;
- Identifying potential sponsors who align with the conference goals; and,
- Leading live chairing duties for selected conference sessions.
Committee members will receive subsidised registration to attend the conference.
