Emerging Contaminants Risk Framework

Water Research Australia is seeking expressions of interest for provision of research services to undertake a project into the development of an Emerging Contaminants Risk Framework.


The objectives of this Emerging Contaminants Risk Framework project are:

  • A categorisation/classification system to proactively manage emerging contaminants in the water industry.
  • Determine the means to improve the sharing of relevant information relating to emerging contaminants within the water industry.
  • Articulate the implications for: Source control, catchment management, treatment and transport, human health and environmental impacts.
  • Provide guidance for the water industry to incorporate consideration of ECs into existing water quality risk assessments and management plans.

Those providers interested in submitting a proposal are referred to the RFP - Provision of Services brief, along with the accompanying Requirements Standards & Conditions document. WaterRA requests that all proposals be submitted using the templates provided by no later than 5.00pm (ACDT) on the 13th December 2019.
