Water Research Australia is delighted to announce that two new staff members have joined the BIG Team.
Based in Perth, Dr Marie-Lise Schlaeppy has commenced as a Research Manager. Marie-Lise’s 23 years of experience in research and research management in aquatic ecology, marine microbiology as well as social and educational research has been instrumental in solving industry challenges, to ensure knowledge transfer and to foster the progress of nations’ cooperation and development agendas. Marie-Lise will bring her extensive experience working with stakeholders in academia, local, state and federal government, industry and NGOs in Australian and international contexts, to her role at WaterRA.
Based in Adelaide, Tianna Winterburn has commenced as Research Administration Officer. Tianna has a strong background in administration, particularly within the not-for-profit sector, with her total involvement in this field coming to just over nine years. Tianna will bring this wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm into her role. Tianna will be responsible for providing administrative support to WaterRA's research team.
