RLP member survey

Over the past 10 years, our highly successful Education Program has supported over 75 students to complete their studies while simultaneously delivering vital and innovative research for and within the water industry.

To ensure that the research skills and enquiring mindset acquired as a student continue to be nurtured and applied in the workplace, we now propose to build upon these foundations and develop an expanded program of opportunities through our Research Leadership Program (RLP). The RLP will cater for students and water professionals at all stages of their careers — as they progress from early, through mid to senior career levels.

The RLP will be developed for online and face-to-face learning and knowledge sharing with the intent of including a mix of free and fee-based opportunities in-line with member needs. The RLP will be underpinned by the principles of:

  • harnessing curiosity
  • bringing a research mindset to workplace problems and opportunities, and
  • developing skills which enhance professional capabilities.

We are now seeking member input to shape the specific offerings of the RLP and identify the professional development opportunities which will best support members throughout their careers.
