ANNOUNCEMENT | Member events update due to COVID-19

Given the global pandemic status of COVID-19 and its increasing occurrence in Australia, we have made some changes to our upcoming events

 

The health and wellbeing of our Members, guests and staff is our number one priority at WaterRA.

Given the global pandemic status of COVID-19 and its increasing occurrence in Australia, WaterRA is actively following the recommendations from Australian and State Government Departments of Health.

 

On Friday, we made the decision to change our 2020 Catchment Forum from a face-to-face to an online event - 2020 Catchment Forum: VIRTUAL.

Our VIRTUAL Forum will be held next week 18-19 March 2020 as planned, providing delegates with the same great content around key issues on water catchment management including a significant focus on bushfire 'Recovery for Resilience'.

We will also be inviting all registered delegates to come together in Brisbane on 4th August 2020 (the day before our annual Horizon Research Planning event also now scheduled to be held in Brisbane) for an in-person workshop based on the outcomes of this virtual forum.

We have also made the decision to cancel the Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 17 March in Brisbane.

The cancellation has been resolved by the Board in accordance with our Constitution.
