Nominations invited for Board Directors

August 16, 2018

At this year's WaterRA AGM on 31st October, two new Board Directors will be appointed. Nominations are now sought to fill these vacancies which are for Industry Directors.

The two (2) Industry Director positions will be vacant because the WaterRA Constitution requires a Board Director to retire after two years in office. Retiring Board Directors are however eligible to re-nominate for a further term.

One retiring Director has indicated that he intends to re-nominate for the WaterRA Board:

  • David Sheehan (Coliban Water) – Industry

Melita Stevens (Melbourne Water) a current Industry incumbent, who has also reached the end of her two year term, has indicated that she will not be renominating for the Board.

Our membership community is key to WaterRA’s success, and the Board plays a crucial role by ensuring a strong strategic focus and good governance for WaterRA.

Industry members are encouraged to consider nominating and participating on the WaterRA Board.

Nominations are now open and will close at 5pm on Thursday 30 August 2018
