Background and Relevance

There is limited information in the literature that provides methods to evaluate RO integrity or the efficacy of RO to remove microbiological contaminants. The literature identifies several integrity testing protocols that can be conducted off line, or for components of the system or require external analysis such as Veolia's sulphate test, but none provide real time membrane integrity monitoring. This project explores real time integrity monitoring options.
