Background and Relevance

The project aims to develop an innovative toolbox of ecotoxicity tests that can be used to characterise water that is intended for recycling or discharge into the environment. ln-vitro tests for estrogenicity, androgenicity, phytotoxicity, cytotoxicity and genotoxicity will be developed. The findings will be delivered through a preliminary and final report that incorporates in-vivo and chemical analysis data provided by Curtin University and UNSW respectively.
