Understanding the interaction of engineered nanomaterials, organic matter and micropollutants: Implications for fate in wastewater treatment plants and toxicity

This project will assess the environmental risk of engineered nanomaterial titanium dioxide (TiO2) towards a sensitive aquatic organism in treated wastewater. Investigation into the interaction of nanomaterial TiO2 with wastewater derived organic matter and micropollutants will be conducted to understand its effect on nano TiO2 toxicity.
