Decomposiotn of triclosan from wastewater that may be used as drinking source

This research investigates the use of activated carbon (AC) and manganese oxides as adsorbents and oxidizing agents to adsorb and oxidize triclosan, a compound which is widely used in pharmaceutical and personal care products and is frequently detected in the environments.
