AquaWatch 2026 | Webinar 2: Coastal, AI-derived and Citizen Science water quality monitoring products
May 27 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm AEST

Join us for the second webinar in AquaWatch’s 2026 webinar series, which explores how AquaWatch products are being linked to Earth Observations to deliver tangible outputs for water resources managers.
The AquaWatch program by the CSIRO is developing products for monitoring and forecasting water quality across Australia using Earth Observation, In Situ Sensing, and Big Data approaches. This program aims to provide a scalable, reliable, and integrated service for managing water resources.
WaterRA is hosting two webinars to showcase innovations in satellite information collection and translation, enhancing decision-making for water resource managers. These events aim to engage technical experts and practitioners, fostering ongoing participation in AquaWatch’s product development and use.
The webinars will update participants on AquaWatch product development, pilot projects and opportunities for water quality management.
The webinar series will be followed by a WaterRA-led workshop where industry-specific needs can be discussed, contributing to the future of AquaWatch tools and the potential formation of an ongoing knowledgeable and connected cohort of practitioners. More information on the workshop will follow in coming weeks.
