The workshop, which was held in Sydney on the 25th November, explored the current knowledge of Cryptosporidium risk in the Australian context.
Across Australia, catchments vary considerably in size and land use. In some catchments, Cryptosporidium presents a risk to water quality. The Australian Drinking Water Guidelines have set an individual filter turbidity target for catchments with an identified risk from Cryptosporidium.
